SHOHOJOGITA

SHOHOJOGITA, established in 2005, is a Fair Trade organization that empowers rural Bangladeshi women, especially those who are widowed, divorced, or in need, by creating skilled employment opportunities through handicraft production. With a network of 140 artisans and a sewing production unit in Dhaka, SHOHOJOGITA exports 100% of its handcrafted products, including jute bags, baskets, mats, and hand-embroidered accessories. 
Traditional Technique: 
Hand embroidery, weaving, jute crafting, drawstring bag-making. 
Material: 
Jute, hogla, and locally sourced fibers.
Export Destinations:
Currently exports products internationally.
