ECOTA stands for effort to create opportunity for Trade Advancement and since 1990, we have been committed to this principle—bringing together the makers of handmade products across Bangladesh. Today, we support over 150,000 artisans, 50% of whom are women from disadvantage backgrounds, across 62 artisan groups. Our mission is to empower these artisans by building their skills and connecting them to global markets, helping them rise above poverty.
